The Rare Diseases Foundation is a scientific cooperation foundation, a private non-profit legal entity. It was created through the joint efforts of all stakeholders involved in research and care for rare diseases, and more specifically its five founding members.
A foundation that supports associations
The Rare Diseases Foundation advises and supports patient associations in structuring, implementing, and rolling out their research initiatives.
Due to the specific nature of rare diseases, the Association Against Rare Peritoneal Diseases (AMARAPE) and the Rare Diseases Foundation (FMR) have agreed to a partnership within the framework of a call for projects to support and stimulate research into rare diseases, primary tumors, and metastatic tumors of the peritoneum.
