Use of Donations

An Association Under the 1901 Law

Created at the end of 2007, AMARAPE is a non-profit association governed by the 1901 law and managed by volunteers, with its statutes specifying the objectives pursued.

  • Joining means participating in the life of the association.
  • Donating means supporting its actions.

In 2014, AMARAPE obtained recognition of general interest, allowing donors to receive a tax receipt. Ten years later, donations are more numerous and generous, enabling AMARAPE to take action.

Evolution of Donations Since the Creation of the Association

AMARAPE has supported research for ten years

AMARAPE has been supporting research for ten years. Thanks to the generosity of its members and donors, AMARAPE supports medical research and awards research grants each year. In 2020, COVID prevented the launch of this call for projects. Since 2022, AMARAPE has been launching a joint call for projects with the Foundation for Rare Diseases, which ensures disinterested management and contributes to the scientific rigor.

Operating expenses include management and communication costs, as well as training costs for our volunteers. Since 2022, AMARAPE also supports the professionals who provide telephone support.

The table highlights these changes and the allocation of funds raised for research.
